How To Reset Att Uverse Router?

If it is one of the black Arris gateways there is a hardware reset button on it. You would press and hold that for several seconds, all the status lights should flash red then it reboots.

But first, before doing that, just unplug it, leave it unplugged for about 15-20 minutes, then plug it back in. There is also a gateway web management tool (192.168.1.254). There are instructions on the AT&T web site (support/internet) for all models of gateway they offer.

If a simple power down and restart doesn’t fix it, you really should use the ATT web support site or call them before you start altering settings in the web control panel (unless you really know what you are doing).

Have you tried to unplug it? To force it to reboot. If it has a battery backup you may be able to remove the battery.
