Can anyone advise what this category means and if there's a way to delete files or manage it? My storage is almost full and this "other" is a huge part of the problem. Thank you

How to free up storage space on your Mac:
For this go into Your Library folder. Delete the cash folder, saved application folder, and the P-list folder by dragging to the trash. Before you delete them restart your computer then empty the trash. that should take care most of it.
I've read mixed thoughts about deleting the cache folder. Some say that it can slow the system down?
It doesnt do anything bad. It actually helps speed up the computer due to the fact that the cache is running in the background using ram.
