How come iPhones do not have spyware protection installed in them like android phones do?

I recently had spyware installed onto my iPhone. I was unaware that it had happened and it was by accident that I discovered it. I am shocked that iPhones haven’t any protection against these types of software but there is for android phones

Well, your phone may not have been jailbroken, but it is now. Checking what you reported here, flexispy.***/en/spy-on-iphone-compatibility.htm shows that it requires the person that installed it to have possession of your device and the phone has to be jailbroken to install.

As always, it is not possible to install anything that is not in the App Store on an iOS device unless the device has been jailbroken.

What spyware did you have installed on your iPhone? Be specific. And is your iPhone jailbroken (which would be the only way anyone could install spyware on your iPhone).

There is no such app on the iPhone as the security is built into iOS, not patched on like various versions of Android. There is a reason that 99% of all smartphone spyware/malware is on android devices. (The other 1% was Windows Mobile.)

That is corporate monitoring software. Either you installed it on your phone or you have a work email account on your iPhone and they installed it as part of a profile on your iPhone. If you purchased that as a new iPhone from an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Reseller it should not be on your iPhone and you should take it back and discuss the issue. With permission being granted on the phone through that app no information can be taken from the iPhone.

No, that is not true. Despite the name of that app it is really not spyware. As far as malicious spyware that is installed on your iPhone that captures data without your permission someone would need to first jailbreak the iPhone in order to remove all built in security, give access to file management, and remove sandboxing.
