Apple TV working just fine, until tonight, suddenly only showing everything in black and white. TV is working fine showing color. I have restarted the box, reset the box, restored the box, all to no avail. All I can see is black and white. Can anyone suggest anything to help please?

Is the picture only black and white, or does it include shades of grey?
Have you checked the TV color settings for the HDMI input connected to Apple TV? You need to do this while viewing Apple TV, since there are different settings for each input.
Thank you it's Gen2 with silver remote. just checked the color is back overnight - go figure?? Wonder if it had something to do with updates?
Hi 888terri. I don't think it was an update. The last update for Apple TV 2 was 6.2.1, over 3 years ago. Maybe just needed a restart.
