iPhone connects to Bluetooth speaker but doesn’t play

I can connect my iPhone X to my Samsung sound bar, but no music plays out of the speaker, only my phone speakers (Spotify, YouTube, etc.) my Powerbeats connect and stream just fine, so I’m unsure if we’re the problem lies. I had no problem connecting the phone and BT speaker with my 6S.

When playing the music, you would probably need to select the sound bar for the audio out. You should see a small icon to select the Audio to select the sound bar as the output. It is generally a circular icon, with several layers of circles with a small triangle in the bottom center. Tap on that, and it should provide you with the selection menu, including anything connected to the phone.
