Powerbeats2 wireless - volume control broken

I'm a huge fan of beats wireless ear buds. I own two pairs. One for working out and one for my briefcase when I'm on the go.

Unfortunately the product does not stand the test of time. My first pair , one month out of warranty, the blue tooth stopped working. Customer service was generous enough to send me another pair.

Recently the volume dial "popped off" for no apparent reason. Customer service was amazing. He really tried to help me out, but at the end of the day, regardless that my family of 5 owns 4 iphones, 2 itouches, one mac air and two imacs and a set of Beats Studio Wireless. Not to mention the 6 imacs and mac airs my company purchases - I wasn't getting my ear buds replaced for free. I would have to pay $99 plus shipping for a new pair vs the $129 price on line. Considering I honestly just wore them for working out and put them carefully back in the container, on principle, I was not paying the $100. As a loyal customer, who lives the brand, I feel let down.

This happened to me today Feb 08, 2018. I have sent in these powerbeats three times for repair being charged $113 repair and delivery and now again after 90 plus days after the last repair they have issues with the volume control, I started a chat with apple and all the have to reply is that i have to pay $99 to have them repaired. What is this a scam, have to pay every 90 plus days this amount for replacements? It's like buying a new pair every time, I can accumulate all this money and buy a better pair of headphones. What really disappoints me is that a have barely used them.
