Apple Watch heart rate

Does anyone know what heart rate chest straps work with my Apple watch Series 2? I do long distance bike rides and using the heart function on the watch and the GPS kills the battery too soon. So I would like to shut off the heart rate and just monitor by blue tooth. The battery life would go much further.

Hi

Other users have reported success with using external Bluetooth heart rate monitors including, for example:

Polar H7 and Polar H10 (when paired directly to the watch, without using the Polar Beat app).

You can try two things :

try to enable power saving heart rate mode - I'll maybe give worse informations, but it won't kill battery ✅
buy external (bluetooth) heart rate monitor : Amazon.com : Polar H7 Bluetooth Heart Rate Sensor & Fitness Tracker : Sports & Outdoors this one looks good 😎
