Keep getting error 9 or error 56 when trying to update/restore an Iphone 6s

have been trying to reboot and restore a 6s. Got to setup screening questions a couple of times but then screen froze before reaching home screen. Now I keep getting error 9 and/or error 56 when trying to update or restore

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.2, phone stuck Itunescharging screen
