the hyperlinks in my powerpoint won't open, but they did last month. What's the issue?

I'm updating a powerpoint for presentation and the links that worked last month no longer work. I re-entered the links and the program still doesn't work. Have tried Safari and Chrome browsers (usually use Chrome). How do I fix this?
