Hello. I keep getting a split screen on my phone when I hit some combo of the home button and
something else. Any thoughts?

You're likely getting reachability, which happens when you tap (not push) your home button two times in a row.
Do you have a 7 or 7 Plus? Split screen is available on the plus not the 7. If you are getting a split screen on a 7 (not plus) you may have an issue with your phone.
Maybe posting a screenshot of what you're seeing will help.

Um... no... There is no split screen on the 7 Plus. Maybe you're thinking of the iPad.
Hi,...no, it's not that. It's a hard line right down the middle top to bottom and shows two of the same screen.
it's an iphone 7. I just rebooted so can't duplicate right now because I don't know
how I keep doing it. I'll have to post next time I guess. When it happens the phone is not functional..
and I have to power down.
Are you invoking the application switcher?
I must be confused, but if you google iPhone 7 and split screen, there are articles about how to activate it.

Hi. I just did the double tap thing you mentioned and that's not the split screen I'm getting. This is vertical and has a line down the middle and the screens overlap so much so that I can't do anything but power down.
