All of my albums when I click on them are showing 0 photos... and then the album cover photo turns to a gray square! Where are my photos? And, How do I recover them?

I have 0 photos in all of my albums.... when I click on an album is says there are no photos and then the cover photo turns to blank gray.

Are only your custom albums empty or also the main "Photos" album with the moments and collections?

If the photos are still in the Photos view, but not showing in your albums, it may be a problem of the iCloud syncing. are you using iCloud Photo Library on more than one device?

Just the customer albums, but they are not showing in my all Photos...

I am not really sure about the icloud photo library. I do have other devices, however, I don't have albums set up on any other devices just my mac. My iPad and iPhone I use to take pics or screenshots but I don't organize them or share albums on those devices.

It seems like things have been weird with my syncing abilities since the most recent update on the iPad and iPhone. I am having problems with my emails as well... I delete them from my mac computer, but they don't delete from my phone or iPad anymore.
