Importing 360 .mov files into FCP X

I've trying out the trial version of FCP X to edit GoPro Fusion 360 video to decide if I want to buy it to edit my 360 videos.

When I prepare my file in GoPro's Fusion Studio to stitch my two video files, I export it per their setting for editing in third party software. I choose the highest resolution and it exports it as a .mov file. When I select the lowest resolution option, it creates an MP4 video clip. Any thoughts on what I need to do so I can edit the highest resolution option?

Thanks Tom- unfortunately, with the GoPro Fusion Studio, you can't get under the hood to make many selections. It's really a horrible program, but you need it to stitch the 360 video. What I put in that first screen shot are the only options I can select.

Apparently Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo have different needs for their 360 video. GoPro says if you are doing other editing (like Adobe Premiere or FCP) to select the "Editing" option (again, referencing that first screen shot).

Just for the heck of it, I tried all the other settings. I actually was able to import it when I selected the Facebook setting. So I apparently found a work around.

Yes, I opened that version up in QT player. That was the clip that I rendered out within GoPro Fusion Studio using the Facebook settings. I've been doing some testing with that clip and I think it works. It appears I'm able to do what I want. So, I don't know why on GoPro Fusion Studio the Editing settings don't work, but the Facebook settings do work. I was able to throw a test graphic on the video and upload it to YouTube. It looks like it's visible in 4K.

Also, I'm using the Trial Version of Final Cut Pro X Version 10.4
