Is my Apple Watch series 3 still water resistent if I might have played around with the secret 6 pin connector?

So I basically was checking out my Apple Watch an I wanted to see what was behind the little slot underneath the band I used a needle to try to get the door to pop off but all I got was a little sound of something coming loose behind the door so Idk if it was the water resistance that I might have just punctured or what can u help me?
