How to disable raise to wake iPad iOS 11
Not located currently in display and brightness. iPhone has it there but m iPad does not. Annoying feature in dark rooms.

I have the 2017 iPad. Mine stops doing that when I remove my sleep/wake case. You know, the cases that turn the screen on or off when you open or close them. I figured it out because it wasn’t doing it at first. Then a week after getting the iPad, I got the case...and got the problems. So I took it off, and bam problems solved. So if you have a sleep/wake case try removing it and see if that solves the problem. It also stopped the issue with certain apps not rotating when my iPad was rotated. Hope this helps 🙂
Still not sure why this is happening to some people. For me, no amount of movement will awaken my iPad Air 2 when it is sleeping. I am currently doing this on my iPad and just tried again to wake it while asleep with no results by moving it.
Happening on my iPad Air 2 also. More so when I lift the iPad from the bottom end, near power button. I think it may be in connection to the battery going bad in these models. Mine struggles to hold a charge lately.
Nothing to feel silly about. This seems
To be the issue for me. Funny tho because it seems to wake the iPad when the cover is open and folded around the back so the magnets are working from behind. Not how one would expect it to work. It’s too good I guess.
Not sure what you are seeing. With my iPad, I have to press the home button to wake it up from its sleep mode. No movement will wake it up.
This has been happening to me too. Sometimes it wakes up when I pick it up, sometimes when I put it down, or even just shift it a little.
Hi yes it seems to be a new issue after one of the many recent updates. I looked for the control menu like in iphone to shut it off but it wasn’t there.
This happens to me too on my iPad Air 2. Picking it up or just bumping it wakes it up since the 11.2 install. And my fingers are not touching the Home button or the power button.
My model is A1584 and it’s still an issue. Also my rotate is certain apps has been buggy during same approximate time period.
That is an iPad pro. Again, not sure why some people are seeing this. As I said, no amount of movement when my iPad is sleeping will wake it up.
My IPad is disabled and requesting passcode I have entered the correct pass code. How can I fix the problem
Double post
Go into Settings>Display & Brightness>Lock/Unlock feature. There you go! I just had to play around with some things, and figured it out.
