Anyone else having Live Video disconnect issues with Ring doorbell app on iPhone X?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing Live Video disconnect issues with the Ring video doorbell app on the iPhone X (or possibly other phones running iOS 11.2.2)?

Here's my setup:

Ring Pro video doorbell connected to a 5GHz network

Router Asus AC3200 RT running latest Merlin firmware

iPhone X 256GB running iOS 11.2.2

Latest Ring doorbell app (updated today 1/18)

The Ring app shows voltage is good (17.5v with Ring connected) and WiFi strength is good (20Mb/s down and 6Mb/s up at the bell).

Problem:

If I happen to be on a call on my phone and someone rings the bell, or I switch to Live View video, the video feed is dropped after 20 seconds and a message says "We're having problems connecting to your Ring video doorbell".

Steps to resolve:

Tried connecting to different WiFi networks

Assigned a static IP address and put the doorbell into a DMZ

Removed and re-installed the Ring app

Checked router settings for possible conflicts

Additional info:

I spent 2 hours working with Ring Tier 2 support last night. They are pretty sure this is an iOS issue since my app drops the video feed BUT they continue to see it at their end.

This ONLY happens when I'm on a call. When I'm not on a call there are no disconnects and video/audio stream as expected.

I'd be very interested to know if anyone else has experienced this (or could test it to see if they can replicate the issue).

Thanks in advance.
