is there a way to pair my new nokia 3310 with my iphone 8 plus? I noticed that before ios 11.2.2 i was able to pair my new nokia 3310 with my iphone 8 plus to copy my contacts but now...every time i try to pair the device i receive a "not supported" and "remove pairing"...
how the **** is possible and how to fix this?
PS: i installed the new public beta 11.2.5...it didn't solve my problem

Because that is working just like I described above to Idris. That is a built in function on the Nokia that makes the phone look like a head unit and uses PAP to pull from the iPhone to the Nokia. If you notice in the video they never actually pair the devices they just turn on BT and it connects. Did you try that?
If you are trying to copy contact from the Nokia to the iPhone that will not work.
If you are following the instructions in the video and it is not working that may also be due to the newer chipset. Report it but it may be a function that Apple never intended to support.

sorry to tell you that i just import ALL my contacts to my new Nokia. In the video i just saw the exact step i did without success...
Then...i don't know why, tapping the small i blu icon near the device on the bluetooth panel i discovered that the label sincronize contacts was not active. Just activated it and succesfully import all my contacts...
i assure you that one month ago i was able to do this...i assure you!!! Why i have to lie? I paired my iphone in a couple of second and transfer in a minute all my contacts...no words...
There is no Bluetooth protocol to pair with the Nokia unless it has A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) and you are intending to use it as a speaker or you want to tether your iPhone to your Nokia in order to get on the internet.
The iPhone does not use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Bluetooth profile so you cannot pair them to transfer data.
my very old car (Lancia Y) works perfectly to transfer via bluetooth my contacts but have a big problem with the pairing...after one minute the conversation explode with a terrible sound like "beeeeeeeeep" and i can't do nothing...phone and car kit blocked!
You need to report this to Apple (call AppleCare and open a case). If your car is running a very old version of Bluetooth it is probably having problems with the Bluetooth 5.2 on the Broadcom chipset.

Nothing changed, iDevices have never had the FTP profile and it has never been able too transfer via Bluetooth.
The only way I have ever been able to pair with another phone and transfer data involves jailbreaking the iPhone. If you did this previously and paired them how did you do so?
Would the Phonebook Access Profile (generally used for car kits) work to transfer contacts to another phone?
i have ios 11 so i can't jailbreak and i don't want to do that. I did it twice! I have open contacts on my Nokia, then option - copy contacts - other device - cellphone - iphone and import...
It might but I'm not sure how you would pair the devices in order to get to that. Unless the Nokia can be set up to look like a car and receive the data. I would not work in the other direction.
That may only be possible in one direction (from the iPhone to the Nokia) and since the 8 has a newer Bluetooth version it may no longer work.
so if you are so sure...how can you explain this?
