Hulu Closed Captions Not Working

can not get any Closed Captions to work on any Hulu Shows, was working a few days ago

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Mine are not working either. I followed the directions from Apple. The Closed Captions are not working on my iPad either. However, on some older shows, like Spiral (French) the subtitles are working. But the newer show False Flag (Israeli?), the subtitles don't work at all. The options are greyed out with "auto" selected.

Useless.

Mine too, after the update the option isn't available for Apple TV 4 ... Netflix and all the other streaming sites work except Hulu and I've turned closed captioning on through the Apple TV so from everything I've read it should be working but isn't

finally spoke with someone at Hulu and they read me the follow script 'we are aware that closed captions currently is not working with some Apple Devices (Apple TV) and are working to fix this situation. We do not know when this will occur.' - Closed Captions does work if I want to view via my MacBook Pro

The Closed Captions does work with no issues when using any other Apps

I tried it on my older Apple TV but also on my newer iPad Pro. It didn't work on either. It did work in Safari on my Macbook Pro, so I'm sure it's something with the Hulu app itself.

an update, Hulu has got it sorted out and once again 'Closed Captions' are showing up on Hulu shows. Life is good once again, not that it became bad because of this glitch.
