So while playing song on my iPhone 7 , I realized that the upper speaker is not giving output as loud as it should. Now there is no stereo output and the speaker music experience is not as same as before. Is this due to iOS 11 upgrade or hardware issue? Anybody facing the same trouble?

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > go towards the bottom of the screen and check to make sure L/R balance is equal.
I had an iPhone 7 Plus and noticed that the top speaker was not as loud as the bottom one, but it was an improvement over previous iPhones that did not have stereo capability. My iPhone X has a much better stereo system.
Thanks for the answer. I tried that but the upper speaker is noticeably more quiet than the lower one. Flipping both sides on landscape mode has same outcome.
Thanks balance is equal I checked on both sides the top one is definitely quieter
Hmm.. that may be the case but it still was lot better when the phone was new tho..
Try this...................To test, all you need to do is place your iPhone 7 into landscape mode while listening to a stereo audio track. You'll hear true stereo separation that's immediately noticeable. When you flip your iPhone, you'll notice that the stereo channels flip to correspond to the correct speaker output.
