Ive logged into iCloud.com and clicked the gear icon in email then Accounts.
My alias email address is not giving me an option to delete it & I want it gone asap because it uses a surname I no longer wish to use ( actually, even see).
It says it is an alias and not a main email address but I am going round in circles. Tried on iPhone, iPad and on Mac.
Anyone know of a workaround for this issue please?

You will see a list of the addresses at the left of the Preferences>Accounts pane (image, right). If the address in question is second, third or fourth in the list you should see the 'Delete' link where I've indicated. If it is at the top of the list you cannot delete it.
If the address is not the top in the list but you cannot see the 'Delete' link you should contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click 'See all products and services', then 'More', then 'iCloud', then 'Account and Setup', then 'Troubleshooting iCloud account issues'. Then click 'No thanks. Continue' to be offered contact methods.

Why can't I delete an IMAP alias account?
