How to make a list in numbers?

Hello Everybody

I have been trying all morning to do one simple task. Make a list, in a cell on the programme Numbers.

Help tells me how to bullet and format a list, nowhere can I find how to make one.

I have tried the wrap text function, using, return, tab, the arrows but everything just goes to the next cell and not underneath my text.

I don't want to use the added text function, as I would like the text to move with the cell when I organize my sheet.

All I want is this:

  • One
  • Two
  • Three
  • Four

Please someone must have the answer, I'm going mad!

Thank you

To create the bullet (if you want to type one), type the key combination

<option> + 8

to make a new line while editing a cell, tap the key combination:

<option> + <return>

if you want number to create the list each time you type the new line, select the cell, then use the cell formatter.

To be able to do this, you should double click the cell to enter text edit mode.

Once in text edit mode, you can select items from the "Bullets & Lists" pop-up menu
