Apple Watch Interfere Airpods
Is anyone else having issues with Apple Watch interfering with Airpods? It only happens on phone calls and the only resolution I have found is to put the watch in airplane mode.

Hi
It may help to reset your AirPods and set them up again via your iPhone and/or to unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch:
It may also help to check for and, if possible, limit any potential sources of wireless interference:
Potential sources of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference - Apple Support
If the issue persists, then I suggest that you contact Apple Support (remote diagnostics and/or mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance:

I did. I knew more about the issue than the agent did. I was looking for more feedback on this forum. Thanks
I believe I fixed the issue by turning off auto ear detection
I have tried both. The only way I saw to unpair my watch is to reset it and restore from a backup. I also tried to reset the AirPods. What happens is I will start a phone call on my phone, more specifically speakerphone. Then I will decide that I want to use my AirPods. I will take them out of the case and put them in my ear. They will show as an option on the audio menu on my phone. But I do not receive the audible confirmation that they are connected. However when I put my watch on airplane mode and then try to connect to them again they Will connect
Are you also a Tile user? Iphone, Airpods, Watch and Tile together are a hot mess. I have the same issue that you describe, and disabling Bluetooth in the Tile app solves the problem.
Thank you.
You're welcome - best of luck! 🙂
Did you see my followup?
forget that, it may help but didn't solve issue. best solution i've found so far is putting watch in airplane mode
I think the issue may be my tile app which keeps Bluetooth on. I turned Bluetooth off within that app. I will keep testing
Sorry, didn't see your 1/29 post when I replied re: Tile. Good luck!
Thank you so much.
