Magic Mouse 2 suddenly won't connect to MacBook

My Magic Mouse 2 seems to have stopped working today.

I have done all the obvious thinks like switching it on (green showing), charging the mouse as well as putting my MacBook on charge while charging the mouse in the hopes this would work and for some reason it doesn't want to connect like it did before.

I have gone into the BlueTooth settings and noticed that it switches between "connected" and "not connected" but really quickly.

I've read through some of the suggestions on the feed and yet can't seem to get it to work, in the hopes of not having to go in store.

Please can someone assist, is there no way of resetting the mouse? Also, what could have happened that caused this?
