Apple TV iMovie theater is not showing any movies or projects

My Apple TV is signed in to iCloud; but iMovie theater is not showing any movies or projects. Photostream on the same iCould is working ok on the same Apple tv.

Signing in and out of iCloud on the Apple tv did not help.

I am having the same issue. I did open a case via the phone and the support person told me that they are aware o the issue but there is no solution at present.

My specific situation is that I have video clips imported into iMovie and shared in iCloud that by selecting "Theatre (default)". The movie was shared and saved to iCloud. I can view the movie on laptop, iMac, iPhone, iPad, but not on AppleTV.

Did all of the support recommendations

1) Re saved the video clip into iMove (Cloud)

2) Updated AppleTV to the latest S/W version

3) log out of my iCloud account on AppleTV

4) log in to my iCloud account on AppleTV

5) Restart AppleTV

6) ...and so forth...and so on.

I spoke with Apple Support on Sunday and they confirmed this is a known issue and are working on a fix. They confirmed, as this thread confirms, it is not isolated to any one user. No timeframe was given for a resolution.

Like others, I have latest TVOS and have reloaded the App; signed in/out, even did an OS reset.

Initially got a screen message about "your content appearing here", but now get an error message about "iCloud or Internet problems and please try again later".

All other iCloud service working fine and Theater is working on iOS and Mac.

One question for other Mac users: On the main Theater Screen do you see a Cloud icon (top right corner) and does it have a Tilda ~ through it? Just curious....

Apple TV and iMovie theatre were working perfectly until about 2 to 3 weeks ago...suddenly it stopped working. I reinstalled the app, signed out and back in again and spent about 2 hours on hold waiting for I-apps people to help. No luck. The app seems to be defective...and they are working on it...but very slowly.

I check it every few days on my Apple TV and get a charming message that this is the place to watch the movies I have in the iMovie theatre. (Coming soon to a theatre near you....essentially.)

Perhaps the more we all complain about this, the more resources  will throw at the problem to resolve it.

When it works...it is fabulous...

I am having the same issue. Apple TV 2 and all my movies created in iMovie and shared in Theater DOES NOT appear anymore in my Apply TV 2 itheater. In fact just for fun, i created another icloud account and shared one movie in theater to see if Apple TV itheater will show it with my new account. No, same issue. I even went to Apply Store for Genius appointment and they cannot fix it themselves(after re-installing software for apple TV). It seems they want you to buy a new Apple TV lol...Anyway, when you look at the icloud storage, i noticed that the imovie videos are showing up as "document" and not videos. I thought it might be the issue but there's nothing we can do. This is frustrating since I have around 15 movies in there. Icloud photos is OK but iMovie videos wont show up.

I just am noticing this now, just installed iMovie Theater on my new 4K Apple TV and it just shows the "your content will appear here" message. the content does appear on my other devices (my rMBP and my iPhone) but doesn't on my ATV. I also just noticed the tilde on the icloud icon on the Mac OS version of iMove in the upper right. doesn't say tho whats the problem (which is what thats supposed to represent that there is an issue).
