My videos on chrome keep rewinding a few seconds and continue playing, help

I recently acquired an iPhone 8+ and ever since I got it whenever I watch videos on chrome like movies and stuff like that it just plays normally but at seemingly random moments it just rewinds a few seconds then continues playing, I’m really confused and irritated by this problem, has anyone else encountered this problem before and if yes how did you fix it?
