Are there any jazz instruments in GarageBand. The only trumpet I can find is under the Orchestral group and is definitely not jazzy... Same goes for guitar, saxophone, trombones etc... I have tried eq-ing them with some success but this wouldn't do the job.
Apple, I thing you 've missed out a bit on this one. Most people using Garageband will find a jazzy sax more useful than chinese pipa...
Not in GarageBand, but the JamPack 1 has a Full baritone sax for jazz, funk and a mellow soprano sax for jazz ballads.
For both saxophones the Mod wheel adds vibrato.
The JamPacks are not part of GarageBand, but you can purchase them as a part of MainStage 3.
