How do you keep the calendar from erasing emojis??

Hello all!

Thanks for taking the time to read my question. This problem has been going on since I had the iPhone 6 and now the 8. Every time I put an event into my calendar I put an emoji icon at the end of the event name. I go to save it and 9 out of 10 times the emoji will disappear...?? Has this happened to anyone else and if anyone knows how to stop this from happening please let me know! Also, I have completely updated my phone, I do leave my phone on all the time(hardly shut it down), I have tried rebooting my phone, and I have turned it off/turned it off. I wasn't sure if there was anything else I could do? Again, thank-you!

Seeing how there are some views and no comments, I assumed that no one knew the answer or were having the same problem. I contacted Apple Support and this is what she said:

"Gotcha! This may be because your email service provider (whichever calendar your events are being stored to) do not support emojis. I recommend trying to uncheck all but one of the selections and trying to create an event with each one until you see if any of them work:)"

This was after she told me to go into the Calendar app > Calendars(at the bottom). So I did that and discovered that Yahoo! group doesn't support emojis. Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud(of course) do support emojis. If you go to Indiana State University and use the Portal for events in your calendar, it also supports emojis. Hope this helps you guys!
