I have an admin account and since I am the only one to use my mac, I selected the automatic login for that account. But, each time I restart my computer, it asks me for my password, which is a bit annoying. Any idea why the automatic login does not work?
I have the latest version of macOS Sierra High.
iMac, iPad Pro, iPhone
Also in System Preferences > Security & Privacy make sure "Disable automatic login" is not checked.

Are you using FileVAult, or an iCloud password to login?
Set your Mac to automatically log in during startup - Apple Support
If you have FileVault enabled you have to supply a password to mount the encrypted drive.
Thank you very much guys. Indeed, it was a setting in Security, requiring a password after startup and wake up after sleeping. Problem resolved...
