Activity History. What does the green dot means?

The green dot indicates days on which you recorded a workout on your Apple Watch.

I work out and complete the exercise ring every day, yet in the Activity history, the green dot only appears above weekdays, not weekends. Any ideas on how to cure this? It may also be the reason that I haven't gotten any achievements, despite completing many of them. Thanks for any advice.

And further testing shows that’s not even correct. Scratch the achievement idea too. About the only thing I know is that it’s NOT from using AW (as I said, i don’t use mine for exercise tracking (unless it’s swimming)).

If anyone can delete my original response so it doesn’t spread disinformation further, that would be great.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. The green dot apparently indicates a day where you got an achievement. I’ve seen the “workout app” answer repeated too often. I don’t use the AW at all when exercising, but have green dots all over the place. The only constant is an achievement on those days.
