High Sierra has removed the network diagnostics tool from Network Preferences. Why? This tool is sorely missed. Is there 1) a good reason why this was removed, or 2) a way to get it back?

you can hold down the option key and click on the wifi symbol in the upper right hand corner it should give you the option to open network diagnostics
