GPS Issue on iPhone X

My husband and I are suffering the GPS issue on our iPhone X. His and my iPhone X GPS is fine in my husband's car (Audi A6L), but very very weak in my car (Audi A4L): it can find my current location/a new location via search, however, as soon as I begin driving, app just does not keep up as I'm driving. App seems to think I'm stationary and shows "GPS weak". Actually no GPS issues occurred when I used my previous phones (iPhone 5/6Plus) in my own car. I called the service line of Apple China, and the operator told me it is the first complaint she received on iPhone X GPS issue. Are my husband and I just bad luck?? We bought A4 and A6 in the same year, I really do not think the problem is related to cars.... Why Apple can not fix this problem, already so many users reported the same issue!!!!

you are right it is the phone X, it is not your car, it is not your service ... try this temporary fix, it has worked for me, turn your phone sideways (landscape), your gps will work and keep up, but the landscape mode in most GPS apps, *****! There must be an issue with the motion chip conflicting with gps while you hold it up-right. I don't know exactly why it happens, but it does, and turning your phone sideways helps with your GPS signal, and works as advertised for me, good luck!

Re: iPhone 8 GPS problems

First time I've heard about this on an Audi, click the link, maybe you will find a solution. I found that moving the phone's position away from center console worked for me (Hyundai Sonata '13), but these phones either have interference issues with whatever is in the center console of some cars, or the gps is just faulty in general. Either way, you'll find that this has been a problem for some time with no fix or acknowledgement of the issue from Apple.

Today I made a new experiment. I placed the phone in my car without starting the car, GPS was fine. I started the car, no matter where I placed the phone, GPS was very very weak. I used my colleague's phone (iPhone 6S) and started my car, GPS of iPhone 6S was working and mine does not. Then we changed the vehicle. She started her car, sitting in her car and found the GPS of my iPhone X became working! My conclusion is that something inside Audi A4L 2015 just does not compatible/match with iPhone X!! And I blamed to iPhone X.
