AppleCare or AppleCare+ IS transferable in the sense that the remainder of the Apple product warranty is transferable to any user, if you sell the the device.

It is NOT transferable to use on/with another iDevice.

Big difference.

AppleCare warranties are specifically link to one, single Apple Product ONLY.

AppleCare/+ is needed or to be purchased for each and every Apple product you purchase.

You CAN’T bandy the warranty back and forth between products. Can’t do that.
