iPhone 6 Screen Slowly Fades To Vertical Lines

Hello,

My iPhone 6 has suffered many drops and when I woke up this morning the screen and display seemed fine. After about 30 seconds or so on my phone, the display slowly faded to vertical gray lines, became unresponsive, and eventually to black. If I turn the phone off and click the home button to show the lock screen, the display looks fine again but after about 15 seconds the display fades to the lines and becomes unresponsive. The screen seems to be coming off the top left corner and I can see light coming out of the side of the phone. This has been there for a while and I am only starting to believe now that it could be a problem. There is also a small crack at the bottom left corner of the screen and a small crack underneath the glass in the top left corner. Images seem to burn into the display too when the fading begins to happen but go away as soon as I power off and on my iPhone. I've tried checking for water damage but nothing seemed to be wrong there. I'm thinking perhaps it took one fall too many and there is a loose connection in the display somewhere.

If someone has a solution to this problem, I would like to be able to use my phone in my daily life again. Should I see an Apple technician for this problem? Is it a hardware or software problem? Would I be able to fix this problem without spending a fortune?

Thanks!
