How to unsync two iPhones.

I'm using my wife's old iPhone 5, I've created a new apple Id etc but we are receiving each others messages and calls how to I stop this without losing all the contacts and pictures on this phone?

If you've created a new Apple ID and you have signed in to iCloud using that ID, make sure that ID is also used for messages and calls.


Check the Settings > Messages info and make sure Text Message Forwarding is not going to your wife's phone. Same with Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices -> Off.

Hi

All apps contacts are tied to the apple I'd in use when they were downloaded.

If your wife has the photos she can send them to you by Email

But you need to turn off find my iPhone &restore iPhone back to factory settings

To remove your wife,s information.
