Warcraft III, Battle.net and other user accounts on same computer

Hello all,

I have a problem. WarCraft III and the expansion game work fine when I am in my own account in MacOS 10.4.8. However, when my kids log in to their own account on the intelMac (other users) and then try to log in to Battle.net they get this message:

"There was an error writing to your hard drive while trying to download a file from battle.net. You may need to free some space. Please check your hard drive and try again"

I have lots of space left on the hard drive, all most 150G worth.

I am using an iMac with an intel CPU. (2.33Ghz w/2G RAM and 256Mg ATI video). Running MacOS 10.4.8.

What went wrong? Because it works 100% if running from the master account (mine).

Thanks,

Hello all. After many hours of trying many different things I learned what to do.

I had to install a copy in each of my kids accounts also. For some reason, I can't use the game program from the main Applications folder, like I can for every other program I have. Now I have three copies of the game, one in the main Applications folder, and one in each of the kids user account folder.

So now you know.
