Hi rachael271,

I understand that you want to know if you can stop your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth from being enabled at 5am. I'm happy to provide some help for this.

If you use Control Center to disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, there are some cases where it will enable automatically:

Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center with iOS 11 - Apple Support

Disconnect from Wi-Fi networks

Open Control Center and tap User uploaded file. The icon will dim and your device will disconnect from any network that you're connected to.

While Wi-Fi is disabled, auto-join for any nearby Wi-Fi networks will also be disabled until:

  • You turn on Wi-Fi in Control Center.
  • You connect to a Wi-Fi network in Settings > Wi-Fi.
  • You walk or drive to a new location.
  • It's 5 AM local time.
  • You restart your device.

User uploaded file

Disconnect from Bluetooth accessories

Open Control Center and tap User uploaded file. The icon will dim and your device will disconnect from any accessory it's connected to, except for Apple Watch, Instant Hotspot, Apple Pencil, and Continuity features, like Handoff.

If Bluetooth is turned off, you won’t be able to connect your iOS device to your Bluetooth accessories until:

  • You turn on Bluetooth in Control Center.
  • You connect to a Bluetooth accessory in Settings > Bluetooth.
  • It's 5 AM local time.
  • You restart your device.

If you do not want them to turn on at 5am, you may instead want to complete disable them:

Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

If you want to completely disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for all networks and devices, follow these steps:

  • To turn off Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
  • To turn off Bluetooth, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth.

For the best experience on your iOS device, try to keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.

Yes. Settings/Wi-Fi - OFF. Settings/Bluetooth - OFF.

Alternatively: "Hey Siri, turn off Wi-Fi" "Hey Siri, turn off Bluetooth"

Alternatively, hold the HOME button and say "Turn off Wi-Fi" hold the HOME button and say "Turn off Bluetooth"

All 3 of these work flawlessly. I have used them several times.

I have the same problem with Bluetooth switching on unprompted. I’ve got it turned off in settings and locked in the restrictions section but it happens anyway. (And I also get a pop up that prompts me to connect a certain app to Bluetooth. I don’t know if they’re both related but I’ve contacted the app developer three times and they do nothing).
