OWC 1.0TB Aura SSD / Flash Internal Drive

TWO questions please

I need to keep using EL Capitan as I still need to use FINAL CUT 7.0.3 and convert it's XML to Premiere hence I wont upgrade to Sierras

1- I would like to purchase the OWC 1.0TB Aura SSD / Flash Internal Drive; my 250GB are not enough for my work.

Will this Flash Drive overpower the MACBOOKPRO and reduce its functionality?

2- I already have problems with my USB3 external Powered Hub which keeps loosing the HD I connect for a few seconds telling me I should eject them while they are still visible and usable in my desktop.

ANY suggestions?
