can't login to iTunes - says session has expired. ID and password are correct. Have rebooted. Have used help articles from Apple but nothing works!

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand you are having trouble logging into the iTunes Store. When you try, you get a session time out error. I'm happy to help!

First, I would encourage you to confirm you have done all the steps outlined here: If you can't connect to the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store - Apple Support .

If you have, and the issue persists, try signing into iTunes while booted to safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support , and then also in a brand new user account if safe mode doesn't work, either: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support .

If you'e done all those steps and still haven't gotten to a solution, don't hesitate to respond back.
