Iphone 8+ homebutton crack

At christmas, I got a new phone and just after 3 weeks of having the new phone, I noticed a crack in the home button. This crack had instantly lead to the phone rebooting continuously and it can not be used. The crack is not from any form of shock as I have never dropped it. The glass screen protector or any other part of the phone/case does not have any form of damage to proof that it has never been dropped as I am someone who takes extra care to protect my phone. It is brand new and I am very upset as I am not responsible for the crack. The phone can not be used at all.

Has anybody else had a similar issue?
