Will CD Burning issues be fixed?

I'm tired of having to use Windows Media Player to burn my iTunes music files to CD, does any know when this issue will be fixed as the solutions I have tried do not work.

Using latest iTunes software 12.7.2.60

Burning songs purchased from iTunes

Getting error message:

Attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred. (0x80000405)

No problem burning with Windows Media Player just a hassle.

There would appear to be a general issue burning from iTunes 12.7.2.x for Windows.

A workaround is to uninstall iTunes then download and install one of the following as appropriate directly from Apple’s secure servers:

You could also try burning at 1x or 2x speed which has worked for some, but doesn't address an issue some users have where the wrong playlist is burnt.

I would hope that the next release of iTunes will fix this issue. Apple ought to be aware of it by now.
