Dual Layer Burning In DVD Studio Pro 3

I am working on a 2 plus hour project. If I want it to fit on a standard 4.7 GB Disc I will most likely have to compress it a great deal. I have a dual layer burner and media. Is there a switch or setting I can use to simply burn to dual layer? The video is over 2 hours and I want 3 audio tracks and some special features. Burning to dual layer would allow me not to compromise any quality etc. Thanks.

Yes. You just select the disc type (in the normal way). What is trickier is setting a suitable layer break-point. You either have to make sure that you do have chapter marker(s) at a suitable place, or - if your material is made up of short elements - 'balance' them between the two layers.

In addition note Toast 7 lets you control the break-point;a modest investment in software for additional fine tuning/control of this important issue. I believe version 8 is out but have no experience with this yet.
