Apple Photos - Merge Faces

I've seen several posts asking how to merge faces in Photos and the answer is invariably to select a photo that you want to correct and rename the person to what you want it to be and the rest will follow. This hasn't been my experience. I have 4 duplicate faces with about 80 photos in each. I am having to redo the faces one by one. Completing this process will therefore take many hours. Any other tips for 'fixing' this? Thanks.

Actually I think I've just discovered an even more efficient answer:

Click 'People' in Photos
Command click all the groups of faces you want to merge
Right rick and click 'Merge'

Presto!

You can pull the second entry of the face and drop it on the first one. Repeat it with the third and fourth. For me it worked.
