Engineering Classes MacBook HELP!

I need PSpice for my engineering classes, but the only problem is that it only runs on windows. I have a MacBook, and people keep saying to run VMware Fusion to run Windows, but I'm scared that my MacBook will catch viruses or it'll turn to crap etc. Or if anyone knows anything similar to PSpice for MacBooks that was also accepted to have in class and if that similar program won't harm my laptop??

MacBook Pro, 2016 MacBook Pro

TL;DR - I would just install it. PSpice won't do damage to your machine.

Just be smart when you're using it. I run VMware Fusion and love it. Just only use the Windows for that program. Plus, if you isolate the VM, which is an option, if the Windows side catches a virus, I couldn't migrate to your Mac side. Also, a Windows-specific virus usually can't run on a Mac OS. I would do it, and just take precautions if you're are using the Windows side for a ton more stuff, like browsing the web and doing tons of downloading from suspicious sites.
