No, there is no "arrange all feature".

What I've found is useful if I want to move around lots of items is to create a folder and dump everything I want to move into that folder. Then I can move the folder from screen to screen and remove items as needed. It may only be a little faster but I find it easier. In my particularly tidy moments, I move things into a folder as I download them and, as I decide I want to keep them, I move them to the appropriate place. In my less tidy moments, I keep the things I use the most on the first page and then use Search for everything else.

do not click the "x" unless you intend to delete the app.

Touch and hold an icon until it starts to wiggle. Drag it over top of another icon. That will create a folder.

regarding app icon placement: i try to move an icon and leave it away from others on the screen. it immediately jumps back to fill next to the group. can i get this helpful intent to stop? is there a blank spacer to create the app icon display i wish ?

No, you can't leave a space.

This works - kind of. I can't figure out how to move icons to different pages, only move around on the same page. In the apps tab in iTunes we used to be able to easily rearrange each page, but on the iPhone it keeps popping back to its original place. Is it possible to move an icon from say page 5 over to page 3?

Pressing on the icon until it "jiggles" no longer works on my iPhone X. Instead a menu opens with options for that app. I am no longer able to move the icons. Nor am I able to find anything on my MAC that allows me to manage the icons on the phone. Any suggestions?
