slow running iMac 2011

I've deleted a few of those files and it's all looking a lot, lot better now.

I'm struggling with some of the cleaner software as it seems impossible to delete at the moment. I'll keep trying.

As for Spotify, seems they have made that one impossible to delete but I'll check the forum for a guide.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't realise that about the cleaner app. This was downloaded from the app store so I thought it should be legit. I'll attempt to get these removed.

I forgot to add in my previous post that I created a new user account to see if the problem would be replicated there. The other account runs fine and is as quick as it was out of the box. Could that still be a hard drive failure?

Thanks for the advice. I'll trash them and see what happens. I've tried putting Dr Cleaner in the trash but pops back up after a few seconds?! I get the prompt about whether I'm sure i want to delete, click yes and yet it keeps coming back.
