Trinity, you have hardly any space on your device to do much of anything unfortunately.
If you're not backing up to icloud, I would consider it. Be sure to select "optimize photos" as this will lower device storage used by photos greatly.
Then, I'd clean up my device storage so items can save, upload to icloud, and overall, assist with device performance.

Once you get that sorted, I'd update asap:
Do you have iCloud Photos enabled on the phone (Settings - Tap on your name, then iCloud)? If so, if a photo is deleted from any device logged in to iCloud Photos it will be deleted from the phone and from any other device logged in to iCloud Photos.
You'd find them where you backed them up to. If they are not in your backup nor recently deleted, they either didn't get saved due to lack of storage on your device or not backing them up, or both.

There is nothing in the Recently deleted, my iCloud storage is not low. I have used 27.42GB and have 175.2MB left of the actual iPhone storage.
How can I get my photos back? That's all I'm wondering, I've been trying to get them on a hard drive...
So they're just gone?
