How do I reach Apple?

This morning I turn on the computer, and my Messages application is out of order. I check my email and find this:

User uploaded fileI clicked on the button labeled Resolution Center. Safari took me to a webpage where I entered all my private information. I clicked the button to submit my data, and the webpage objected. The webpage demanded that I enter credit-card information.

I have had the same Apple ID since 1992. I am unaware of having done anything to violate Apple's terms of service. I am unaware of anyone hacking my account.

I want to ask Apple what is the alleged violation of the terms of service. I do not, however, see in the Resolution Center any provision for interrogating Apple. How do I talk to Apple to ask what the heck it's talking about?

SCAM. This is a scam page. Whatever information you have given it, you should change. LIKE PASSWORDS, IDS, ANYTHING FINANCIAL.

Apple provide guidance in the documents below but the key factors are … A genuine message from Apple will always address you by your name or the name they know you by and that email will always come from an address that ends ‘@apple.com’.

It goes without saying that the grammar and spelling is always correct.

Never click on any links in a pop up or an email you suspect.

These are the Apple documents. What to do about phishing. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204759 … which also tells you where and how to forward the email.

First of all that was a scam email check sender’s email. Apple’s email always ends with @apple.com if you have provided any information on that link then contact apple as soon as possible https://getsupport.apple.com/

If you have provided any credit card number then contact your bank. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204145

What do you mean by blocked?

Messages – Can’t log in

Messages – Can’t log in 2

Messages - If you can‘t sign in to your iMessage account or FaceTime on your Mac

Message activation error

Have someone else attempt to sign in using their Apple ID. If they can successfully sign in and use Messages/FaceTime, it may be your Apple ID.Someone I know had this happen and I was able to sign in usingmy Apple ID. After a call to Apple Support and then being elevated to a tier 2 support person, it turned out it was a problem with their Apple ID. It took the software engineers 3-4 days to fix the problem. When calling Apple, make sure you tell them it is an Apple ID problem so you don't get charged.

There is a contact link.
