how to synch Bookmarks from MacBook Air to iPhone

Question

how to synch Bookmarks from MacBook Air to iPhone

I have added a lot of new bookmarks on my MacBook Air but when I go to my iPhone & iPad the new ones have not been added on those bookmark lists. I thought on My old MacBook that if I bookmarked a page it was automatically saved to all 3 devices. How do I accomplish this? Thank you.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

When I checked my iCloud settings somehow "Safari" had been unchecked from Synch. Thanks!

Sign in to your iCloud and make sure your Safari data is synced

You can also try to export your data to Google Chrome. Sign in on Google Chrome with your google account and Chrome on iPhone. They syncs pretty well.
