Sync iCloud Bookmarks with Microsoft Edge
First and foremost I use macOS Safari, Chrome or Firefox. It is rather rare that I use Windows for casual browsing. Sometimes Windows IE is required to access some sites/tools. Windows 10 keeps pushing me to try Microsoft Edge instead of Windows IE 11, but there has not been a way to synchronize bookmarks with my iCloud. I spent some time looking for a way to sync my bookmarks with Edge but kept on stumbling upon the same result - iCloud for Windows only syncs with IE, Chrome or Firefox on Windows 10.
So I started thinking maybe I am going about this the wrong way. Maybe I should find a way to sync IE 11 bookmarks with Edge, which really wouldn't involve iCloud at all. Here is a quick and simple solution (btw, I used option 1 here, because I still wanted to have the ability to sync bookmarks with my Microsoft account profile):

I would like to thank MAURO HUCULAK for this write-up and wished I would have found that sooner. To make a long story short, keeping favorites synced between Edge and IE using Group Policy seems to be a good solution, and may not require an update to iCloud for Windows at all. I am still testing this, but so far if I make a change to my bookmarks on my iPhone it syncs to iCloud, and boom - it was updated in IE and in Edge as well.
Hope this will help someone who needs to use Windows and always wanted to sync iCloud bookmarks with Edge.
