EndNote X8 with Pages 6.3

Like other users before me, I am having trouble formatting Chicago style footnotes using Pages (with the EndNote plugin) and EndNotes X8. There is no italics, I can't include more than one reference in a single footnote, I can't get commas at the end of the note to add page numbers (I can only add them as a suffix, and there's a period in front of the page) and also the bibliography is terrible. No formatting whatsoever.

Is there anyone out there with a good source on how to deal with these issues?

Many thanks for your help!

Have you done the following, and then rebooted, before attempting to resolve the issues that you describe in your post?

  1. Quit Pages.
  2. Installed the Pages EndNote Plug-in v3.1
  3. Have EndNote 8.2 (or later) installed
  4. Updated to Pages v6.3.1
  5. Launch EndNote 8.2+, then Pages v6.3.1 in that order.

If you have done all of the above, and still have no solution to your described problems using EndNote with Pages, then either you have more to learn about using the software, or more likely you are probably out of luck until one or more of the above is updated.
