Nixon Mission IOS App Not working on My iPhone 6S

Ok this is a slightly difficult problem to sort but i hope(And pray)someone here can shed some light,i have purchased the Nixon Mission Smartwatch which now has a companion IOS app that i have downloaded to My iPhone 6S however the Surf Site data refuses to load when i downloaded the app to my Wife and Son's iPhone 6S phones the app worked flawlessly i am utterly gobsmacked as to why it refuses to work on My iPhone My Son went through every setting nothing appears to be out of order i have contacted Nixon and even they are utterly perplexed its driving Me insane but these communities are My last resort.Thankyou in advance.

P.S.Even tried a soft reset of the iPhone 6S to no avail.

Hi Speed Merchant when You use the App on Your iPhone do the Snow Spots load but the Surf Spots do not,the cursor just keeps going round and round,the App on the watch fetches data from Your internet connection but updating it is a pain.They(Nixon),are saying there's another updating for IOS coming but so is Christmas.The funny thing is the app works perfectly on My Wife and Son's iPhone 6Ss!I bought a cheap Android phone and all is well app and watch in perfect harmony.

To be honest I’ve never really used the snow side of it, but equally it doesn’t work either when I have tried!


I had the iPhone 7+ when I first got the watch & initially whilst it would update after 20mins of faffing, it eventually stopped working & I gave up after an hour of fiddling on my iPhone X to get it to update which didn’t work at all.


But you can register it without any problems & link it up!


With so many apps out there - including Apples watch - that can update via your mobile network or Wi-fi, I don’t understand why this watch can’t either & relies on a poxy app! It’s only new software & I really think NIXON should go this route as it’s a waste of a lovely watch!


I’m back to using my RIPCURL watch now more than this one!

That’s just one of the issues I’m having with the Mission and the 6s+. As of this last Friday the Mission app on my phone does nothing but crash every time I start it, and for the the last month and a half the Mission app on the watch has been crashing and freezing about every week or two, with the Mission watch face losing all complications. While the watch still “works” as a basic watch, the only way I seem to be able to get it to work properly is to do a full factory reset, but now that I can’t even get the app on the phone to work I don’t want to do another reset because I wouldn’t even be able to sync it with the phone again. Called Nixon CS and all they said was “yeah those are known issues and they’re working on it” but no clue as to when they’ll have it all sorted out. Honestly, I now regret buying this watch. I was between it and the Apple Watch; I wanted something more rugged, focused on surfing, and even got it customized and engraved, but it’s been nothing but headaches since I got it. I’ve really tried to love it, but every time I have to call Nixon it makes me wish I’d gotten an Apple Watch just like everyone else.
